Residential Architecture: Davis Residence

Architect

Carol and Jake Davis planned on Aging in Place, but their existing kitchen and family room were not large enough for their growing family and future grandchildren.

JSR worked with the Davises to design an addition that made use of an existing screened-in porch. Creative structural solutions provided open space for the new kitchen and an enlarged family room, which was re-created by removing a closet and expanding the usable space.

The clients achieved their finished space and are pleased with the design solution. Construction is now ongoing with the owner acting as the general contractor.
