Lauren has a background in art and holds a Bachelor of Science in Art History from Towson University located in Towson, Maryland. In 2007 Lauren held a summer internship at Erickson Retirement Communities in the Development Department where she created an artwork and accessories package for the welcome center of an upcoming facility.
Over the years Lauren has also volunteered her time in the art classroom at St. Jane Frances School located in Pasadena, Maryland; planned and given tours at the Baltimore Museum of Art for local middle schools through Towson University and also volunteered at The Little Sisters of the Poor, in Catonsville, Maryland. Having grown up in a family with a tradition of working in the senior living industry, Lauren combines her love of art and its effect on people by helping to develop JSR Associates, Inc.’s Healing Arts program. She has worked for JSR for five years, become a member of the Society for Arts in Healthcare, and uses her graphic skills to guide her work with wayfinding through artwork, signage and interior design. She manages JSR’s Design and Marketing Services for healthcare and senior living environments.
